Sky Burger – Simple Addicting Fun

NimbleBit (formerly know as Ian Marsh) who brought us the beloved Scoops and the addicting word game Textropolis, now brings us yet another addicting fun, yet simple game, “Sky Burger”.

Sky Burger puts you to work stacking burgers to order! Catch the right ingredients as they fall from the sky, and don’t forget that top bun when you’re done!

Build over 50 unique burger orders that grow taller and taller the more orders you complete. Complete enough orders in a row and build an unlimited SkyBurger!

Earn cash for each burger and get promoted up the Sky Burger corporate ladder. Watch your business grow with each promotion! Look back at your career stats and compare them to the top Sky Burger employees.

Sound like fun huh? It is. You must catch the right ingredients. The more orders you stack correctly, the faster / wilder the game will get! Then in a random order you will get a Sky Burger order. Basically this is a “wild order”. You just stack as high as you can. To make things more fun the game also has online stats and scores.

Another really cool feature the game offers is that it remembers where you are. So if you accidentally close the app, when you load the app it will automatically resume where you left off, by stacking the burger for you up to where you left it. As if that were not enough, the game also saves your status on the server, so even if you restore, you can recover your progress on that device. Works for seperate name tags too! The game offers music and sound effects itself, but has support so that you can play your own iPod music. Depending on how your SkyBurger coporate rank is the background changes as well. From a Burger Cart or Van to a SkyBurger restaurant, to the Sky Burger Corp. Global Headquarters. The visuals in the game, I must say, are amazing. The level of clarity but great look, it’s just beautiful *sniff*.

The game (as you can see above), just like in Scoops, has tumbling ingredients. So if you don’t position yourself properly they will go over. So don’t try to put an ingredient on the edge!! Like all Ian March games (or should I say Nimblebit), it is very polished. You will not find any bugs, or anything that does not fit in. Although the game has a simple concept and gameplay, it’s just as fun as any other game on my iPod (if not more). The game also has ambient music that fits right on in with the game. Below is a gameplay video. Please keep in mind it has old music and does not show some features that were added.

Overall, I highly recommend this game. It’s simple yet addictive. You won’t be getting bored of it any time soon. It’s a must have.

Oh and I forgot to mention. The app is at a special introductory price of $.99 , it will then go up to $2.99  . I think at a buck this is a steal. So take advantage.
