You can use the comments of people you are attacking to find vampires of lesser level that might be easier to beat attacking…
Do not accumulate more blood than your upkeep requires- this just makes you a target.
When you have several members… Many cheap abilities without upkeep will be more useful than just a few expensive abilities with upkeep.
Look for the missions with loot– there are some very good items out there!
Use your phone#, email, or comments to invite others- there are no limits to your daily invites this way…

Could someone tell me what happens when you add people to clan? Do you have to share blood, do you use your combined strength in attacks on rivals, if one of the coven allies attacks does it force you to take part in battle, if i am victorious in a battle does the experience and blood i win get shared among other clan members? just joined last night, and i have have 11 in my clan, all of which i added using loyalty points. i assume those in my clan i added with loyalty points are bots. could someone explain the clan, and coven system in detail. much obliged. i may add peopel tonight when i am at home with access to internet. thx! endymion lvl 9 (11 clan members – all “bought”/”added” with loyalty points)

I’m a Level 111 Overlord currently. If you are planning to take this to the top levels, some pointers:
Quality of abilities IS important. Get the best availible but don’t really go crazy spending blood till you reach the top (Ungodly Strength, Neocremancer, Archfiend).
Strength of those you add to your clan doesn’t appear to be very important at all. Just another body to employ YOUR abilities.
Numbers in clan can overwhelm an opponent but at the higher levels, since it’s not nice to attack your clan members unless invited, it reduces those you can attack to relatively few (kinda sparse at the top, but getting more crowded quickly).
Structure your abilities to match the needs of specific high scoring missions. Lots of blood and loot available there if you play it right.
BANK your blood! The 10% fee is nothing compared to having it taken when you aren’t looking.
Use health lows to take a breather. A good time to buy or add abilities.
As was said earlier, only have enough slaves to support your abilities. Any more blood coming in is just a target for others.
Slaves cost increasingly more to buy. Look at cost per drop of blood for each and always buy the cheapest per drop slaves.
The hit list is great fun and a way you can beat anyone on the list even if you are weaker (or frustrated with attackers). Your attacks there wear them down and eventially someone kills the listed person and gains the bounty. It could be you. And if you are hit listed, your non-banked blood and health are taken to zero. It regenerates, but you’re whacked for awhile.
Most players seem to focus on attack strength in skills meaning you can beat stronger players who have low defensive skills.
Tons of players here to add, but you can also read the comments of others for additional players to add and insight to opponents.
Elder points are added infrequently gratis, but you can gain both points and abilities by downloading upgrades to the other Live games when offered to you.
This game offers great social interaction or very little. Some clans are quite communicative and some (like mine) only get the occasional broadcast. My clan is balanced at the moment at 118 members. I only add sparingly as blood and abilities allow.
Enjoy, but please remember it is only a game. Many out there take this all way too seriously. Strategy is very important and taking a minimalist approach but doing so wisely will still allow you to reach the top.

if you cant afford to buy enough abilites for EACH MEMBER OF YOUR CLAN, than a big clan is completely pointless. why have a clan of 50 if you only can afford to buy 2 of your highest abilites? doesnt make any sense at all.
