11 CommentsI’ve been getting a lot of emails lately asking me how to install ipa files on your iPhone. I assume all these people can’t read well as the method to install these ipa games (yes, we use ipa files mostly for games and cracked applications) is easily accessible on my blog. It is in the right navigation bar and there is also a link from the list of cracked games.
By the way, what are ipa files?
Files with the extension .IPA are application files used by iPod Touch and iPhones..IPA application files can include: games, finance, health, etc. and are usually downloaded from the official iTunes App store..IPA files are essentially zipped/compressed archive files utilising an Apple specific file extension, by changing the extension to .ZIP and unzipping in a program such as WinZip some idea of the files contents can be gained.

hey listen up, 1,000 videos and none of them , specified things the right way, what version are you using, get a tripod next time i got dizzy as hell, and it did not work, you didn’t show if what you installed worked, yeah the icos can be there but not necesarily means it work, cause that what happened to me after I fallowed your video, no good at all. wasted my time dude.
by the way 2.02(5c1), that my iphone firmware, try and see if it works on that version.
But what if I DONT HAVE A WIFI ive been looking for answer for 2 days now and still no luck a://///

Right on MikeGee. These Youtube videos SUCK BIG TIME.. get a tripod and it would be nice to hear a video without some whining in the background
If you dont have a wifi connection just do the following:
Go to http://www.digidna.net
Download DiskAid
Connect iPhone/iPod Touch with normal usb cable
Run DiskAid and select Root Folder on bottom left corner options
if you dont wanna use wifi there is a usb version for ssh too. just look for ifunbox
maybe you need to download something on cydia to make it work properly.

I have successfully jailbroken my iPhone and installed all the appropriate apps. I have also successfully browsed my iPhone via Cyberduck.
My question now is, how (more appropriately WHERE) exactly do I put the ipa files I would like to install into my iPhone?

* IN ORDER TO DO ALL OF THIS YOU NEED TO JAILBREAK YOUR IPOD*
to get cracked apps you can get installous off of cydia. and also get ifile from cydia.
then get a file from installous
then open i file go to var then mobile then downloads
then open the file in zip opener and extract all files with the thing on the bottom right.
touch done then a folder will show up under the downloads section saying payload.
open the folder and inside it will have ur app.
press edit check ur app on the left side of it.
then go to the bottom right button thing press it and touch copy/link
go back to mobile press applications.
press edit the press the button on the bottom right and press PASTE.
when its done exit out of ifile reboot iphone/ipod touch if the app doesnt show up and after rebooted still no app just wait it will eventually pop up.
