This page lists the the latest MobileInstallation patch files available for the different iPhone firmwares.

I did some research and found different sources. From what I read, you can use MobileInstallation 3.0 Beta patch on a 3.0 iPhone. I haven’t tried this myself and if you do, please let us know how it went in the comments.

MobileInstallation patch for iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware:

• MobileInstallation for 3.1.3:  simply install AppSync for OS 3.1 from Cydia (confirmed to work on OS 3.1.3)

MobileInstallation patch for iPhone 3.1.2 Firmware:

• MobileInstallation for 3.1.2: simply install AppSync for OS 3.1 from Cydia (confirmed to work on OS 3.1.2)

MobileInstallation patch for iPhone 3.1 Firmware:

• MobileInstallation for 3.1: simply install AppSync for OS 3.1 from Cydia

MobileInstallation patch for iPhone 3.0 Firmware:

• MobileInstallation patch for 3.0 via AppSync
• MobileInstallation patch for 3.0 Beta (supposedly works on the official 3.0 firmware)
